Meet Our Founder
Roosevelt Bonds
Roosevelt Bonds is a proud North Memphis native whose lifelong passion for serving others has made a lasting impact throughout the community. In 2023, he expanded that vision by establishing Bonds Kids Park, located at 955 Leon Place, Memphis, TN, a safe and welcoming space where children and families can gather, play, build friendships, and enjoy positive community experiences. The park stands as a symbol of his commitment to creating opportunities for young people and strengthening the neighborhood he proudly calls home.
Since founding Bonds Kids Inc. in 2017, Roosevelt has dedicated himself to empowering children and families through education, mentorship, and community outreach. His compassion, charisma, and genuine love for helping others have always been at the heart of his mission to serve North Memphis.
Roosevelt believes that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed, regardless of their circumstances. His leadership is rooted in integrity, service, and the belief that investing in children today creates stronger families and brighter communities tomorrow.
Through Bonds Kids, Roosevelt has led numerous initiatives that have positively impacted countless families, including Back-To-School drives, Toy giveaways, Easter egg hunts, Thanksgiving turkey drives, free haircuts, Financial literacy workshops, Community picnics, and year-round outreach programs. These events provide not only essential resources but also hope, encouragement, and lasting memories for the children of Memphis.
Today, Roosevelt continues to inspire volunteers, community partners, and local leaders to come together in support of the next generation. His vision extends beyond providing assistance he is committed to building a legacy of opportunity, leadership, and community pride.
